May seems like the perfect month to launch our new business – Christmas Country Homes. Spring is a time of new beginnings and we are so excited to get started. And although Christmas Country Homes is new, the business of real estate isn’t new to my family.
My father founded Christmas & Associates, a recreational land company, almost 30 years ago and I have worked for the company for over 10 years. A few years ago, I obtained my real estate license so that I could learn more about our family business and grow within our company. Along the way, I bought my first home, got married and now have three, beautiful children. I now appreciate more than ever before the concept of “home” and how important buying and selling a home can be. I live on Fayette Street in Camden, NY, in the house where my father grew up with his parents, brothers and sisters. Now it’s my home to my family. This building we call “home” has housed four generations of the Christmas family – something very special and not all that common in a world where people frequently relocate to a different city or state.
It is now my dream to help local buyers in central New York find a special place to call their “home” and Christmas Country Homes is the realization of this dream. Whether you are upsizing, downsizing or relocating to our community, I look forward to helping you find the new home of your dreams!

I really can appreciate the idea of a home that feels like a place to stay. You’re right when you say that what you’ve got is very special when so many people relocate or move away; I myself have moved more often than I wanted to, and I’ve been trying to find a place to put down my roots. Maybe I can find something worth staying for in a place of home and country living.
